History of the brand

  • Passionata, a brand of the Chantelle Group, is a French lingerie brand founded in 1988. Its target market is working women and its icon is the image of a woman who lives life to the fullest.
  • 1990: Passionata launches daring and feminine collections: corsets with ruffles at the waist and low-cut bodices.
  • 2000: Passionata highlights Latin influences by launching colourful and feminine lines that reflect the warmth found in places like Naples, Punta Cana and Managua. The star line of the decade is Passio, available in a wide range of tropical colours.
  • 2010: Passionata introduces the term Passionista to denote the "Passionata woman", described as a modern woman at ease with herself and passionate about fashion, with a brilliant lifestyle and sexy. La Pasionista is an icon of the happy girl, glamour and seduction.
