Anita Lingerie

• Anita is a lingerie brand that offers a wide range of underwired, sports and maternity bras. They are very comfortable garments, with a modern look and very feminine, thus fulfilling all the features that a woman looks for in these garments. It also has prosthetic bras - post-operative from its Anita Care line for all those women who have undergone breast surgery.

History of the brand

• 1886: When Ernst Max Helbig founded the foundations of today's company in Dresden, the economy was booming: it was a prosperous time for start-ups and inventions. For his company, Ernst Max Helbig focused on braces and special medical supplies, but soon expanded the range to include lig suspenders, corsets, shorts and the first bras.
• 1900: Thefirst Anita corset is produced and the production of the first orthopaedic girdles and trusses is developed.
• 1949: The daughter of Dr. Walter Helbigs , Christine, moved to Upper Bavaria in 1949. Together with her husband, Dr. Heinrich Weber-Unger, she founded Anita Dr. Helbig GmbH in the idyllic town of Brannenburg, continuing the tradition of underwear from Dresden.
• 1960-1990: Dr. Christine Weber-Unger was an intelligent and business-savvy woman. She had a good sense for "neglected and promising niche markets" and realised the potential of underwear and swimwear especially for women with special needs and developed models for pregnant women and nursing mothers, as well as products for women who have undergone a mastectomy.
• Today, Anita has an excellent reputation as a benchmark for high quality lingerie and Swimwear fashion. The five production lines ROSA FAIA, Anita since 1886, Anita maternity, Anita care and Anita active are aimed at different groups of women, but they all have one thing in common: exceptional fit, optimal comfort and excellent quality.
